How Air Fluidized Therapy Works
An AFT bed is filled with silicone coated glass beads and flushed with warm air to provide a dry fluid-like floatation. This warm dry airflow and immersive environment relieves pressure on wound sites and provides excellent moisture management to inhibit bacteria growth and support healing.
